Loving-Kindness

-->
Mental workout Is a “diminished focus on ourselves and our needs” (Dacher, 2006), you have to tame and train your mind through exercise on a daily bases, just as you a professional would practice for their job field. There are 2 general steps to a mental workout that help us get fully engaged.  Step one is “Loving kindness” which starts us on the path to integral health.  You start by mentally engaging and transition to a mindset of loving-kindness, this allows our mind to clear up and keep calm, and when we give love and kindness we will in turn receive that back through “natural and effortless aspects of higher consciousness” (Dacher,2006). Step 2

I did find this weeks exercise beneficial, I think this exercise mediation this week was more effective to me than any of the other ones it really got me to focus and relax. I think the loving kindness concept with peace I connected with more. I think the ocean music was soothing and gentle; I also liked the silent pauses in between instructions. I am getting into the mindset of being able to grasp more. I would recommend it to someone and have to my wife.
