I think the Loving-kindness exercises were beneficial; it
was geared towards calming the mind and preforming exercises to help you relax.
Though this subtle mind exercise also calms and relaxes you it is geared
through the mind, it is based on breathing strategies and learning to control
it. Dacher says, “ Peaceful breathing patterns leads to peaceful mind”. Unlike
some of the other practices where you not able to practice them anywhere, the
subtle mind can be practice frequently and where every you are. I liked this
subtle mind more relaxing and real, not picturing imaginary things. Spiritual
wellness, mental and physical wellness all is in the same line of work leading
to integral health. They all posses their own unique triggers to you body, one
is just as important as the other. Each different wellness type is manifested
in my personal life through my daily routines, more that any would be my
physical wellness due me dedicated to it on a daily schedule. The other two we am
learning more about as class goes on and plan to incorporate these types of exercises
in my daily schedule.
Great post, I too felt the relaxing effects of this weeks practice. I think its great we are all able to partake in these life changing exercises and I am also incorporating them in my daily life. Since the start of this course has there been a particular exercise you found to be the most beneficial?
